LaseMD Ultra is a non-ablative fractional thulium laser that uses a 1927nm wavelength to rejuvenate and resurface the skin with little to no downtime. This wavelength targets water in the skin’s upper layers, gently heating the tissue and creating microscopic channels that stimulate collagen production and promote healthy new cell turnover.

LaseMD Ultra effectively treats uneven skin tone and texture, sun damage, melasma, fine lines, and mild scarring. Treatments can be customized for all skin types with recovery levels from a light “glow” treatment to a deeper resurfacing session.

LaseMD Ultra is also an effective treatment for scalp rejuvenation and hair restoration. The laser creates controlled microchannels in the scalp that enhance the penetration and absorption of topical growth serums. This process increases circulation, stimulates dormant hair follicles, and supports a healthier scalp environment for stronger, thicker hair growth over time.

You may experience redness for 1 to 2 days after these treatments. Spots may respond to treatment by appearing darker before becoming lighter or flaking off. Your skin may also feel slightly rough or gritty in the first 2 weeks, as cellular turnover occurs. You should avoid direct sun in the first 2 days and continue with the recommended skincare regimen and sunscreen per your provider’s instructions. Most patients will feel comfortable enough to resume public appearances the next day.
